MetricWise uses role based security which restricts a user's ability to access system modules based on the account type.
By translating user roles to an employee's job function, a user's view of the system can be simplified by hiding functions they don't need for their day to day tasks, and access to sensitive information can be restricted to only those who need to know.

Role, Module Access and Functions Table
The table below shows the available roles in the first row and the available modules in the first column.
An R in the grid indicates the user has read access (view but not edit) to that module, and a W indicates they have write (edit and create) access as well.
The reports row lists which categories of reports a role has access to. Reports access can be specified by report category to role, but not by individual report to individual user account.
By default, the Sales Rep role does not have access to reports. However, if store policy is to allow access, contact MetricWise Support to enable this ability. The report access for Sales Reps will be limited to viewing only the contracts and customers they are assigned to. The access can be limited to specific report categories.
Other items to note: Most MetricWise servers are configured to give all sales reps read only access to the entire install calendar. This is done to allow sales rep to see upcoming installations they've sold, and share install dates with customers as needed.
Also, Sales Managers have access to the Control Panel, but they can only access the accounts of other users in the sales group.
