Ad Campaign module- A module for entering specific advertising spends to be used in reporting for cost per lead.
Appointment Action shortcut - The popup menu that can be accessed by clicking anywhere on a sales or install appointment on the calendar.
Appointment sheet - See lead sheet.
Autofill - A browser function which fills in a field automatically, when the first few characters of a name or word are typed into the search criteria and then tab out of the field.
Be Back - See Revisit.
Calendar ribbon - The hours of the day displayed on the Calendar window; click the hour to schedule an appointment within the hour.
Cancelled - An appointment status to indicate the customer called prior to the appointment, cancelled it and did not want to reschedule.
Cap - Custom Exterior Trim, also referred to as wrap, cap or coil.
Contract - a signed carbon quote of the Window World paper contract a Sales Rep completes after a demonstration.
Contract Date - The date the contract was signed by the customer or arrived on a Mail In / Walk In.
Contract ID - An auto-generated number assigned to a contract that is used throughout MetricWise. When prepended with a Window World store number, Contract ID numbers become purchase order numbers and are used for AMI orders.
Customer Contact - A Customer Contact is the main container for all history for a given customer and can always be located by searching within the Customers module.
Demo No Sale - A recorded result used when a sales demonstration appointment did not result in a sale.
Filter - A preset rule used to selectively display information in each of the MetricWise modules.
Hot Leads - A lead status indicating the prospect is newly entered into the system. A staff member should contact the lead as soon as possible to schedule an appointment.
Icon – A small graphical representation of a program or data. Our appointment status and result indicators on the calendar are icons.
KPI (Key Performance Indicators) – the table on the home page showing stats for sales and leads for Today, Yesterday (YDA), Month to Date (MTD), Year to Date (YTD).
Lead - A prospect who is interested in seeing a Window World sales demonstration.
Lead - A soft malleable metal previously used in construction materials and paint.
Lead status - An indication of a sales appointment type: New, Rescheduled, Revisit, Mail In / Walk, Service.
Lead sheet - A printed copy of a sales appointment's details, containing customer contact information, special instructions and directions.
Link - A hyperlink located in various MetricWise modules, which when clicked will provide access to view or edit information within the module.
Mail In / Walk in - A result to be used when an appointment has already been recorded as Demo No Sale, and the contract is mailed in or brought in after the fact.
Module - An individual component of MetricWise that contains related pieces of information: Customers, Contracts, Appointments, etc.
Mouseover - Popup text that is displayed when the user holds or "hovers" the cursor over a particular area of the program.
Out of Office - A status for placeholder appointments to block out time on a Sales Rep's or installer's calendar.
Results - The outcome of a scheduled appointment represented by the second icon on a sales or install calendar.
Revisit - An appointment status used for follow up sales calls, where the original appointment resulted in a Demo No Sale.
Sales lead - See Lead.
Set - An optional installation appointment status, indicating the appointment has been confirmed with the customer.
Sold - A Sales lead that resulted in both a signed contract and a fifty percent deposit.
QBI - An abbreviation for the MetricWise QuickBooks Importer.
Referred By - An input field in the create appointment window and record contract form, used for selecting the name of a company or individual that referred a potential lead to Window World.
Reschedule - A sales appointment status used as a follow up to a previous appointment with a result of Cancelled or No Show.
Role - A role in MetricWise is directly correlated to a Window World employee's job responsibilities.
Task - See To Do.
Tentative - The default status for a scheduled installation appointment.
To Do - A scheduled item that is neither a sales appointment nor an install appointment.
Tooltip - A brief popup explanation of a link or icon displayed under when the cursor is held over an object.
Turn in date - The effective date of a contract in MetricWise, used for paying commission and sales reporting. This date can be modified if there are problems to be resolved with the contract that cause a delay in commission paid.
Widget - Calendar and Home Page display boxes linked to Hot Leads and To Dos, Key Performance Indicators and Key Metrics.
