If the Create Appointment window buttons appear not to work or if you cannot record results for an appointment, your Internet Explorer browser is probably set to compatibility mode.
Turn off Tools -> Compatibility Mode
To check if compatibility mode is on, select the Tools option in the main menu -- if you don't see a tools option listed, press the Alt key to show the menu bar. Midway down the list there is an option for Compatibility Mode. If there is a checkbox displayed next to that option, click the check mark to clear it.
